We have two walking tours available to choose from; either A Haunted Tower Walk or The Old Town Tales. Both tours are approximately 2 hours long and are walked the entire distance. Both tours run every Friday and Saturday during our advertised times. Both tours begin separately at 7:30pm and run until approximately 9:30pm.
A HAUNTED TOWER WALK
Our Haunted Tower Walk tour is located in the historical Tower District and we meet on the corner of Olive and Roosevelt; across the street from Raco Smith Realty.
The avant garde and eclectic atmosphere within the heart of the Tower District made this location’s apeal even more worthy of a tour. So much so was the rich history and greedy beginnings that we found out more than we ever thought we could.
People were a bit reluctant to talk at first, but then the proverbial floodgates opened and stories of paranormal activity came pouring in. Some of what was shared was more than phenomenal.
Come find out who is still cooking in their former kitchen and who is still canning vegitables in their basement, or who keeps vigil over their former place of work and also who has been known to still be hurling things in reaction to the changing times and influx of people.
OLD TOWN TALES
Our Old Town Tales tour is located in Old Town Clovis and we meet on the corner of 4th and Polasky; in front of the Old Dry Creek Museum.
The story behind Old Town Clovis turned out to be a bit different than that of Tower’s story. Old Town Clovis is in an older part of Fresno which was more simpler in design yet proved to be a more rowdy location. Because it was more rowdy, the records of the area weren’t as well kept or complete.
CCPI’s research finally revealed some interesting facts surrounding the beginnings of Clovis. Along with the facts, there were plenty of revealing stories that were both urban based and about ghostly activity. Clovis residents were more than ready to tell their tales of the paranormal actvity located within several of the buildings and stores that are now on the tour.
On the tour of Old Town Clovis, you will learn the extensive hitorical beginnings of Clovis as well as about a baby that is still crying and about windows breaking loudly, but without really breaking at all, and of a love story that may still be keeping a former store owner lingering.
Join us on either of the tours for a liesurely walk that will be both entertaining as well as historically informitive.
